Over the past two years, I have contributed to the design and development of appliances in the Cooking, Espresso, Blending, and Mixing categories at KitchenAid Small Appliances. My focus has been on ensuring these products are intuitive, delightful, and aligned with business goals through the following activities:

• Conducting front-end ethnographic research to uncover user needs and pain points
• Generating actionable insights to inform product strategy
• Leading cross-functional journey mapping workshops to align teams on user experience goals
• Developing interface layouts and interaction models for digital and physical controls
• Performing heuristic evaluations to assess usability and accessibility
• Conducting usability studies to identify pain points and move designs toward more intuitive solutions
• Creating behavior specifications to define system responses and user interactions
• Collaborating with OEM suppliers to ensure feasibility and manufacturability of solutions
